Koen Vanhaerents joined Baker McKenzie in 1987 and was admitted to the Brussels’ bar in the same year. He was made partner in 1994. Koen Vanhaerents has an extensive Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Securities and Corporate Finance practice. From October 2009 to October 2014, Koen Vanhaerents was a member of the Firm’s Global Executive Committee and Chairman of the EMEA Region of the Firm. Since October 2014, he is Head of Global Capital Markets Practice Group.

Samantha Mobley is a senior partner in the Competition, Trade & Foreign Investment Practice of Baker & McKenzie's London office and a member of the London office Management Committee. She is a former chair of Baker McKenzie's Global Antitrust and Competition Group, a team of over 300 competition and antitrust specialists worldwide. Samantha is a member of Baker McKenzie's India Steering Committee.
Antoine De Raeve is a partner in Baker McKenzie's Brussels office and heads the Belgian Banking & Finance Practice Group. He is also a member of the EMEA steering committee for banking and finance. He has a broad background in international finance, and principally advises clients on transactional loans and credit facilities.

Nina Niejahr is a counsel in the Firm’s European & Competition Law Practice in Brussels and co-chair of the European State Aid Group. She is an active participant in the State Aid Working Group of the European Competition Lawyers Forum. Ms. Niejahr has published extensively and speaks regularly at seminars and conferences on a variety of EU competition and state aid law topics. She is the author of the chapter on EU legal protection in state aid cases, published in the 2011 Münchener Kommentar zum Wettbewerbsrecht (Kartellrecht) and in the 2016 Säcker/Montag European State Aid Law: A Commentary.

Fiona Carlin is the head of the EU Competition & Regulatory Affairs practice in Brussels. She is the former Chief Executive of much of Baker McKenzie’s EMEA Region and the former Chair of the Firm’s Global Competition and Antitrust Law Practice comprising more than 320 lawyers in over 40 countries. She has remained an active practitioner throughout her various leadership roles with a particular focus on regulated industries. Fiona is also the Chair of the European Advisory Board of Catalyst, a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to expanding opportunities for women and business. She was a founding and long-standing member of Baker McKenzie's Global Diversity & Inclusion Committee and is dedicated to creating an inclusive high performance culture where the talent of our lawyers and business professionals can flourish. Fiona has been listed in "The International Who’s Who of Competition Lawyers" since 2009, and is among Global Competition Review's Top 100 Women in Antitrust. Chambers quotes clients as citing her "legal and pragmatic advice" and describing her as "globally minded".

Nick leads the London Banking team, focusing on cross-border syndicated lending transactions including in relation to emerging markets, governmental authorities, trade finance (including ECA-backed export finance) and funds finance. He is listed as a Leading Individual in Legal 500 and similarly commended for his work in Chambers & Partners.
Lynn Rosell Rowley is a partner in the Banking and Finance Department in London. She joined Baker McKenzie in 2007 and became a partner in July 2012. Lynn previously practiced in the finance team at Wragge & Co LLP, where she advised on a broad range of banking and finance areas. Prior to university, she spent six years working for Barclays Bank plc in a variety of roles.
Nick O'Donnell is a partner in Baker McKenzie's corporate department in London. He has over 15 years' experience advising on a wide range of corporate finance transactions and is recognized in his field by The Legal 500. He has spent time on secondment with Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Macquarie and Mubadala. Although London based for the majority of his career, he has previously been located in Abu Dhabi and New York. He regularly publishes articles, and has been quoted and interviewed on the press and TV, on matters relating to the London market.
